AEQUALITAS (EQUALITY)
равенство; вещи равны тогда, когда они согласуются в количестве; равенство возможно 1) по размерам и 2) по сущности; так, количество бывает двух видов: модальным и сущностным. По Фоме Аквинскому: «Поскольку равенство основано на единстве количества, то одно и то же для вещи - быть равной чему-то еще или иметь собственное количество; одно и то же - быть подобной чему-то, либо иметь свое качество» (Thomas Aquinas. In librum I Sent., d. 19, q. 1, a. 1 sol.). Равенство является родом пропорции, так как само равенство есть пропорция вещей, имеющих единое количество. Ср. AEQUIPARANTIA, ANALOGIA, PROPORTIO, QUANTITAS, SIMILITUDO.
